🌞 Iphone 11 Pro Max Battery Life Reddit
I have big hands but the device is still annoyingly big for no real reason. I thought the camera would be noticeably better than the 12 Pro’s but it’s not. Battery life is great although mine is degrading pretty fast (already down to 94% since Dec). iOS doesn’t take advantage of the bigger screen at all. 6.
Had my iPhone 13 Pro Max around a year, and even with busy day-to-day use, I’d rarely need to recharge before bedtime. I upgraded to ios16 last week, and geez, I’ve been charging my phone at least twice a day, if not 3 times!!! Also, my battery health has dropped from 93% to 90% in literally 7 days! Has anybody else noticed this?
Seeing that I commented on this thread about the issues I had with my iPhone 14 Pro Max 16.1 I thought I would send an update. I called Apple and had my phone replaced - this literally solved every issue I experienced with iOS 16.1 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Day 1 has been fantastic so far. Knock on wood and fingers crossed.
The 11 pro Max is technically better model. The only differences I see between the two phone models is that the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a the better and bigger screen, no telephoto camera for iPhone 11, and less battery life for the iPhone 11 as well. Everything else is pretty much the same after that, the Pro models don’t have a lot of edge
I tried Apple Maps instead but no different. My friend had the same problem on his week old iPhone 15 Pro Max. No unusual settings nor activities yet the battery depletes to 25% 6 hours later. The phone is not unusually hot either. Out of desperation, he updated the phone to iOS 17.1 RC 2 and the problem disappeared.
The 14 Pro Max has a larger battery. I’m currently using the usb-a to lightning port as I rarely use the new cables that come with the box. The cable from the box is usb-c to lightning and is capable of power delivery (PD) of up to 30 watts. The usb-a to lightning cable can only go up to 12 watts.
Hi, im iphone 11 user and after the 16.6.1 update the phone gets hot easily with simple everyday tasks (with or without data) and the battery life has dropped, before the update i could easily get 24hrs without charger, now i can barely get 20hrs(same everyday use, no heavy tasks, no gaming just social media (messaging etc.) and some yt shorts watching).
Compared to the 12, the 11 Pro's advantage is the brighter display, telephoto lens, and longer battery life. the 12's advantage is 6m water resistance as opposed to 4m, ceramic shield glass, and 5G. And also A14. Larger display and better battery life. Only reasons I can see.
The battery drain is a little bit significant when on cellular data. Check whether or not you're getting consistently good signal strength. Low and poor cell service while on 4G drastically hits your battery. I almost exclusively used Wi-Fi on Wednesday and Thursday, you can see the data.
The battery life on my 15 pro is noticeably worse than my old 11 with 90% battery health. I don’t use my phone that much so it’s not a big deal, I’m not running out of power during the day, but it is a bit puzzling that this is the reality of 4 years of improvements in tech and software.

My XS Max is burning through battery after iOS 16 that you’d think that was its primary function. Complete rubbish battery life now with 87% health that hasn’t gone down since the update! I already did : ( and the battery is indeed not as strong as it was on ios15. It’s enough for a day but not 2 days : (.
